Ag7100 - 40W Isolated DC-DC Boost Converter

Silvertel have developed a new 40W DC-DC boost converter. Designed as a wide ranging input module for nominally 12V to 24V, it generates an isolated and regulated 48V-57V DC output. This module is an ideal compact solution for generating the higher voltages needed for 802.3af and 802.3at PSE designs in POE applications to complement the Ag6100. It also includes 1.5kV isolation to meet the requirements of IEEE802.3af and IEEE802.3at. The small footprint and low cost modular design mean it is well suited to any 12 or 24V to 48V boost circuit application.

NVE Corporation has introduced 2.5 kV isolation versions of its IsoLoop^® IL700-1 Series MSOP Isolators, the world’s smallest isolators. The new versions are designated with a “V-1” suffix.

World’s Smallest
With JEDEC-standard 3 millimeter by 3 millimeter MSOP-8 packages, IsoLoop^® IL700-1 Series Isolators are the world’s smallest isolators. Until now they were only available with 1 kV isolation ratings.

Exceptional Specifications
To meet the full industry-standard 2.5 kVrms isolation specification, V-1 MSOP Isolators are 100% tested to withstand 3 kVrms, which is unprecedented for such a small part.

Silvertel leads the way in POE again, with the smallest ever 12W and 30W power over Ethernet (PoE) modules for the powered device (PD). The company has always been customer led and now Silvertel has pushed the boundaries even further by reducing the size of their feature rich modules.

The new Ag9800 is fully compliant with IEEE 802.3af providing the complete solution for 12W PoE. The module includes IEEE 802.3 signature, 1.5KV isolation, short-circuit protection along with DC-DC conversion to provide an adjustable 12 or 5V output.
The Ag5300 is designed for higher power applications of up to 30W. These modules are fully compliant with IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at and again provide the complete solution for PoE.
